How to merge audio online
- Add two or more audio files from your device.
- Move clips into the right order with the up/down buttons, or drag a clip onto another.
- Choose a direct join or a crossfade of up to 5 seconds.
- Merge, use the transition buttons to check the joins, then download.
Need to shorten a clip first? Use the audio trimmer. For long quiet gaps inside a recording, try the silence remover.
MP3 or WAV output?
MP3 at 192 kbps is useful for sharing and smaller downloads. WAV stores uncompressed 16-bit samples and is typically larger. Both outputs use 44.1 kHz. Files are joined end to end, not layered as a multitrack mix. This is not a byte-for-byte or lossless MP3 joiner.
Private audio joining, with practical limits
Decoding and rendering happen on your device. Export runs in a background worker and can be cancelled. Unsupported formats, protected files, or unusually large decoded audio may fail; try shorter clips or a supported format. Original metadata and artwork are not retained.
MP3 encoding uses the separately loaded lamejs / LAME encoder, with license and source information.
Frequently asked questions
How do I merge audio files into one?
Choose at least two audio files, arrange them with the arrow buttons or drag and drop, choose MP3 or WAV, and click Merge audio. Listen to the result before downloading.
Can I join MP3, WAV, and M4A files together?
Yes, when your browser can decode those files. They are converted to a common 44.1 kHz sample rate and joined in order. Mono is duplicated into both channels when mixed with stereo. More than two channels is not supported.
What does crossfade do?
Crossfade overlaps adjacent clips while fading the first out and the next in. Choose zero for a direct join. For very short clips, each overlap is capped at half the length of the shorter clip.
Is this a lossless MP3 joiner?
No. Audio is decoded and rendered again. MP3 output is encoded at 192 kbps; WAV output is uncompressed 16-bit PCM. Original tags and artwork are not copied. Crossfades and sample-rate conversion also change the audio.
What are the limits?
Up to 12 files, 100 MB of selected files in total, and 10 minutes of decoded audio. Processing needs more memory than the original compressed files, so shorter clips work better on phones.
