Private audiobook player

A quiet player that remembers your place.

Open chapters in order, listen at your preferred speed, move between files, and carry your session settings in a small JSON file.

Local Audiobook Player

Select files in chapter order. Audio never leaves this device.

Positions and speed are stored only in this browser. A session export contains metadata and progress, never audio.

An audiobook player for local chapter files

Select MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG, or other browser-supported audio files together. The selected order becomes the chapter playlist, and the next chapter begins automatically when the current one ends.

Resume without an account

Playback position is saved in browser storage every few seconds. Choose the same chapter again and the player resumes near where you stopped. Clearing site data removes these bookmarks but does not affect your audio files.

Portable session data

Export a session when you want a backup of your chapter order, playback speed, and positions. Import that JSON later and then select the matching audio files. Because browsers cannot silently reopen local files, the lightweight session intentionally excludes the book itself.

Pick up where you left off

Keep your chapters in order, choose a comfortable playback speed, and return to your saved position. Export a session file to keep a portable record of your progress alongside your audio files.

Frequently asked questions

Does the audiobook player upload my book?

No. Audio plays directly from files you choose on this device. SuperUtils never receives the chapters.

How does saved position work?

The player stores a small time value in browser storage using the file name and size as a key. It does not store the audio file.

What is in an exported listening session?

The JSON session contains chapter names, sizes, modification dates, playback positions, selected speed, and the current chapter number. It contains no audio.
